On behalf of 233 million registered eBay users, CEO and President Meg Whitman will accept the award in recognition of eBay's contributions as a cultural phenomenon and commitment to innovation, growth and social consciousness. Since it's foundation in 1995, eBay has expanded to include some of the strongest brands in the world, including PayPal, Skype and Shopping.com, contributed over $8 million to non-profit organizations, and revolutionized the Internet.
